When is MultiVersus shutting down?

MultiVersus, the multiplayer title from Warner Bros. Games, is officially shutting down after a year-long run and five seasons. The game saw the introduction of characters like Lola Bunny and Aquaman, but couldn't find momentum within the saturated live-service landscape. This closure will just add salt to wound of Warner Bros.
