First Plantation Show inaugurated in the Nilgiris

It is the final event of the annual summer festival. According to the Horticulture Department, the plantation show has been organised to showcase the tea and coffee industries in the district and to highlight the scope for cultivating plantation crops such as cashews and palmyra to farmers
