Indore: Woman’s Father Alleges Kidnapping; Man’s Family Claims Love Affair

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A young man and woman who were allegedly in love ended their lives by consuming poison under Bhanwarkuan police station limits on Thursday night.

According to the young man's family, they were in a relationship and wanted to get married, but the woman’s family was against marriage, however, the woman’s family denied any such relationship and alleged that the young man kidnapped her and forcibly gave her poison.

According to the police, the deceased were identified as Kapil Sharma (25) and Ayushi Soni (20), both residents of Tejpur Gadbadi. Kapil was an auto driver while Ayush was a nurse at a private hospital. They lived a short distance from each other. On Thursday, both were admitted to MY Hospital in critical condition. Ayushi died late at night during treatment, while Kapil died on Friday morning.

Kapil's brother Rahul said that on Thursday night, Kapil called and asked him to come to Teen Imli Square, where he informed him that they had consumed poison. Before Rahul could stop them, they left in an auto-rickshaw. Rahul followed them in another rickshaw, stopped them at the Bypass, and took them to MY Hospital.

Later, Ayushi’s family also reached the hospital. Ayushi died during treatment that night, and Kapil died the following morning. The police have not found any suicide note.

Ayushi’s father denies love affair

Ayushi’s father Pradeep Soni said that the claim of a love affair is false. His daughter worked at a private hospital. When she didn’t return home, they inquired at her workplace and were told that Kapil had forcibly taken her away in an auto. When they went to file a complaint at Rajendra Nagar police station, they learned that their daughter was admitted to MY Hospital.

At the hospital, they found her in critical condition, and she later died during treatment. He refuted all allegations made by Kapil's family and said no one in their family was aware of any such relationship. They also never demanded money in any form.

Woman’s family assaults Kapil

Kapil’s family alleged that Ayushi’s family assaulted Kapil at the hospital while he was lying on the stretcher. They reportedly hit him on the chest while he was admitted. They claimed that doctors told them that Kapil’s condition was stable and he could have survived, but his condition worsened after the assault and he later died during treatment.

Girl’s family was not ready for marriage

Kapil’s family stated that he used to drive an auto. Both Kapil and Ayushi wanted to get married, but Ayushi’s mother was against the marriage. She had even assaulted Ayushi and threatened Kapil’s family. They also alleged that she demanded ₹3 lakh to allow the marriage.
