Tusker electrocuted to death in Odisha’s Angul, farmer detained for illegal electric fencing

A young tusker, aged 8-10 years, died from electrocution near Talsira in Bantala forest range. The illegal electric wire was installed by a farmer to protect his mango orchard. Forest officials are investigating.
