Russian firm rewards 12 soldiers with around $200,000 each for downing Ukraine’s three F-16

Russian firm Fores awarded 15 million rubles each to twelve soldiers for allegedly shooting down a US-made F-16 in Ukraine. The company stated the reward fulfills a promise made to incentivize destroying the advanced aircraft. While Russia claims the jet was downed by its forces, Ukraine suggests friendly fire or technical issues as possible causes for the loss.
