Kangana Ranaut Embraces Ageing & Flaunts Grey Hair, Says 'Politics Is Kinder To Older Women Than Film Industry'
Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut recently shared her thoughts on ageing and how it is perceived in different professions. Posting a close-up selfie on her Instagram story on Friday (May 31), Kangana stated that she has never been afraid of getting older. However, she said that the reaction of her film crew, during shoots, shows how the film industry often pressures women to maintain a youthful appearance, viewing ageing as something negative or undesirable on screen.
Kangana wrote, "My pilgrim soul never feared aging but when my film crew saw grey hair they panicked, used mascaras/color sprays."
Kangana said that now that she is in politics, she feels more at peace because her appearance doesn't affect how she's treated or perceived.
"Happy to be in a place where my aging face or body doesn't take anything away from me. Aging is such a joy. Do you guys think politics is kinder to older women than movies? I definitely think so (sic)," the 39-year-old added

She shared another selfie and wrote along with it, "The most beautiful place in the world is where there is no gap between who you are and how you are perceived."
