As Elon Musk’s Black Eye At White House Event Sparks Buzz, Tesla CEO Breaks Silence — Video
Elon Musk bid farewell to the US President Donald Trump-led administration on Friday with an appearance at the Oval Office. However, he vowed to remain a “friend and advisor” to the US president. However, people were more concerned about the black spot near his eye that was spotted during the press conference.
Earlier, The New York Times reported that Elon Musk allegedly uses ketamine, which has damaged his bladder. A photo in the report claimed that he carried a box around with him. The case contained 20 pills, including Adderall.
Musk was also directly asked about the article during the press conference. He didn’t answer the question head-on but took aim at the media outlet.
“New York Times, is that the same publication that got a Pulitzer Prize for false reporting on Russiagate? Is it the same organization? I think it is!” Musk said.
The Tesla owner further continued, “I think the judge just ruled against The New York Times for their lies about the Russiagate hoax and that they might have to give back that Pulitzer Prize.”
On being asked about the black eye, Musk said that his son was to be blamed for the injury. He said that his son punched him while playing.
"I was just horsing around with lil' X, and I said, 'go ahead punch me in the face, and he did,” said Elon Musk. He also clarified that he didn’t felt the punch much at that time. However, the bruise appeared later.
When first asked about the injury, Musk deflected with a joke: “I wasn’t anywhere near France,” referencing the viral rumour involving the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron.
