Thane: The Thane Pride Festival march began from Nitin Company Junction around 4:30 pm and continued until approximately 7 pm on Saturday. A video has surfaced showing the enthusiastic crowd and supporters of the LGBTQ+ community coming together to celebrate diversity and inclusion.

The visuals reveal a vibrant gathering with participants holding banners that read empowering messages like "Be You" and "I’m an Ally", alongside the colorful Pride flags. The atmosphere was filled with joy and solidarity as people from various backgrounds marched through the streets, embracing the spirit of acceptance and love. The festival is organized by three main leaders – Nakshatra Bagwe, Jay Kommana, and Shrey – who have a history of successfully hosting Pride events. Speaking to The Free Press Journal, Nakshatra Bagwe shared, "This festival is being led by three individuals, myself, Jay Kommana, and Shrey, who have previously organised successful Pride events under the banner of Vasai-Virar Pride Festival (VVPF), held in Vasai in 2023 and Virar in 2024."
