You can almost feel the excitement in the Hyderabad air as the final and the toughest round of the Miss World 2025 kicks off. The Interview segment, with the top 40 participants, has already begun and India’s Nandini Gupta is among them.
Like every year, this time too the Miss World crown will carry a unique value. Fashioned from 1,770 glittering diamonds and weighing 175.49 total carats, along with white gold, it is nearly worth Rs 3 crore. Blue sapphires, which the crown features, symbolises peace, understanding, and loyalty- adding to its charm.
But the story doesn’t end with the crowning reward. A prize of Rs 1.15 crore will go to the winning contestant, which is more than what was rewarded last year. Still, Julia Morley, CEO of Miss World, emphasises that the main prize lies in serving the world as an ambassador for charitable causes. After all, being part of Miss World is beyond just beauty.
Who is representing India at Miss World 2025?
Nandini Gupta, a 22-year-old young girl from Kota, Rajasthan, is representing India on the global platform. Coming from a humble background , her father is a farmer from Bhandahera village who owns 200 bighas of land. Nandini garnered fame after winning Femina Miss India title in 2023. She completed her schooling from St. Paul Senior Secondary School in Kota, and is currently pursuing business management from Lala Lajpat Rai College, Mumbai.
Nandini has even secured the Asia and Oceania regional round of the Top Model Challenge. With this remarkable win, Nandini is now in the quarter-finals. Julia Morley has even praised her and her terrific social work.
Miss World 2025 grand finale is scheduled for May 31 at Hyderabad’s Hitex Exhibition Centre, commencing at 10 pm. The winner will be announced at 1am, marking the end of this terrific celebration of beauty, purpose and talent.
