First change – EPFO ​​3.0 rollout

The government is planning to launch a new version of EPFO, EPFO ​​3.0, which can be started in the month of June. After its launch, your PF claim will become very easy. Also, you can withdraw money from ATM and UPI. After its launch, more than 9 crore people of the country will get its benefit.

Second change – Aadhaar update facility ends

The next change to be made in the month of June is related to Aadhaar Card. Actually, UIDAI has provided free Aadhaar card update facility to Aadhaar users and its deadline is 14th June. This means that if you are not able to get Aadhaar free update done by this last date, then you will have to pay a fixed fee of Rs. 50 for this work.

Third change – rules related to credit card

The third major change from the first date is related to credit card users. If you use Kotak Mahindra Bank Credit Card, then you may get a big shock from June 1. If the Auto Debit Transaction of the credit card user of this bank fails, then a bounce charge of 2 percent can be applied by the bank. This can be a minimum of Rs 450 and a maximum of Rs 5000.

According to the bank’s website, the monthly finance charge on most of the bank’s credit cards may increase on the first date. It can be increased from the currently applicable 3.50 percent (42% annual) to 3.75 percent (45% annual).

Fourth change – Price of CNG-PNG and ATF

The fourth biggest change on June 1, 2025 can be regarding the price of CNG-PNG and ATF. Oil marketing companies revise the prices of LPG cylinders as well as the prices of air turbine fuel (ATF Price) on the first of every month. Its prices were reduced in May and changes can be seen in it in early June as well.

Fifth change – LPG cylinder prices

LPG cylinder prices change on the first of every month. These can also change on the first of June. Earlier in the beginning of May, while the oil marketing companies had kept the prices of 14 kg domestic gas cylinders unchanged, the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders were reduced by up to Rs 17 per cylinder.

Sixth change – FD interest

Banks can change the interest rates of fixed deposits and loans in June. Because the Reserve Bank has cut the repo rate and further reduction is expected. For example, Suryoday Small Finance Bank has reduced the interest on 5-year FD from 8.6% to 8%.

Seventh change – Mutual fund rules

SEBI has implemented a new cut-off time for overnight mutual fund schemes. This rule will be from June 1 for offline transactions at 3 PM and for online at 7 PM. Orders made after this will be considered on the next working day.

Eighth change – UPI transactions

NPCI has implemented a new rule regarding UPI, under which while making UPI payment, the user will only see the banking name of the ‘Ultimate Beneficiary’ i.e. the real receiver. QR code or edited names will no longer be visible. These rules may be applicable to all UPI apps by June 30.
