LPG Price 1 June 2025: New rates of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) cylinders have been released. According to the new rate, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced. Today, this cylinder has become cheaper by about Rs 25 from Delhi to Kolkata. At the same time, there has been no change in the price of domestic gas cylinder i.e. 14 kg LPG cylinder since 8 April 2025.
According to the new rate released by Indian Oil, 19 kg LPG cylinder will now be available in Delhi for Rs 1723.50. Earlier it was available for Rs 1747.50. Today from June 1, it has become cheaper by Rs 24. In Kolkata, from today, commercial cylinder will be available for Rs 1826 instead of Rs 1851.50.
Now the rate of this cylinder in Mumbai has become Rs 1674.50. Earlier, in May, it was available for Rs 1699. If we talk about Chennai, here the commercial cylinder was earlier available for Rs 1906 and now it will be available for Rs 1881.
Today’s rate of domestic LPG cylinder in metros
In Delhi, 14 kg LPG cylinder is available at the rate of April 8. Even today, on June 1, 2025, it is being sold for Rs 853. The price of LPG cylinder in Kolkata is Rs 879, in Mumbai Rs 852.50 and in Chennai Rs 868.50.
How is the price of LPG cylinder decided
The price of commercial cylinders keeps fluctuating depending on the prices of crude oil in the international market and demand-supply. For example, in May 2025, a 19 kg cylinder in Delhi was ₹ 1,747.50, which became ₹ 17 cheaper than in April. Now in June it has become cheaper to ₹ 1723.50. Domestic cylinder prices are controlled by the government and remain stable for a long time. For example, the price of a 14.2 kg cylinder in Delhi was ₹ 803 from March 2024, which was increased by ₹ 50 to ₹ 853 in April.
