Two Brothers Arrested For ISI Spy Plot Targeting DRDO, MI Using Honey Trap Operated From Pakistan
In a major breakthrough, Delhi Police has arrested two brothers, Qasim and Anees, on charges of spying for Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI. The arrests were made following an extensive investigation into a suspected espionage network targeting India's top defense establishments, including the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Military Intelligence (MI).According to sources, Anees has been remanded to five days of police custody by Patiala House Court. Forensic analysis of his mobile phone revealed a shocking operation—Indian SIM cards were being controlled remotely from Pakistan with the intent to honey trap key personnel in DRDO and MI. This operation aimed to extract sensitive information and compromise national security. In a controversial interview with a Pakistani YouTuber, Qasim had earlier stated, “When I went to Pakistan, it felt like I never left home. I received love and a sense of belonging.” His statement has intensified public outrage and scrutiny over cross-border espionage attempts.Authorities are now probing the larger network behind the operation, while cybersecurity and intelligence agencies have been put on high alert. The arrests mark another reminder of the persistent threat posed by ISI-backed spy rings operating through digital and psychological warfare.
