Demolition drive underway at Jangpura’s Madrasi Camp after Delhi HC order to clear slums

A demolition drive is underway in Jangpura's Madrasi Camp, following a Delhi High Court order to clear slums along the Barapullah drain. South East District Magistrate Anil Banka stated the action complies with court directives, removing encroachments that hindered drain cleaning and caused waterlogging. Around 370 jhuggis are being demolished, with eligible residents allotted flats in Narela.
