Breaking News: Heavy Snowfall In North India And Tiger Rescue Operation In Madhya Pradesh Ongoing

Unseasonal weather has struck various parts of northern India, creating a mix of beauty, chaos, and concern. Heavy snowfall in Dharamshala, Kashmir, and Ladakh during the month of May has caught both locals and tourists by surprise. The Mughal Road, a key route connecting Kashmir to other parts of the country, has been shut due to the snow, affecting travel and supply chains. Meanwhile, intense heat in the plains has driven a surge of tourists toward cooler hill stations like Shimla, leading to massive traffic congestion on the Chandigarh-Shimla Highway, especially near Parwanoo. In a separate incident in central India, a tiger from Ratapani Tiger Reserve in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, has strayed into human-populated areas. The Forest Department, along with specialized teams from Satpura Tiger Reserve, has launched a large-scale rescue mission. They are using trained elephants named Smita and Priya, drone surveillance, and dog squads to locate the big cat. However, as of now, there have been no concrete signs of the tiger's whereabouts. These events highlight the dual challenges India faces with climate unpredictability and wildlife conservation, urging swift action and preparedness on both fronts.
