Video: Bullet Goes Up In Flames As Man Turns Key To Start Vehicle In UP's Basti; Biker Escapes Unhurt

A shocking incident occurred in Basti district where a Royal Enfield Bullet bike suddenly burst into flames while being started, causing significant damage to two vehicles near the Basti district hospital.

The incident took place in the Kotwali area, in front of a mobile phone shop located near the district hospital. According to fire department officials, the motorcycle had been parked in the sun for approximately half an hour on the roadside.

The owner, Ashif Khan, had gone shopping at a nearby store and returned to start his Bullet. As soon as he kicked the self-starter, there was a loud noise and the motorcycle immediately caught fire. Khan quickly moved away from the burning vehicle.

The situation worsened when the uncontrolled burning motorcycle fell onto a scooter parked nearby, setting it ablaze as well. The scooter belonged to Ikrar Hussain, a resident of Banpur in Lalganj police station area.

Local bystanders attempted to extinguish the flames by throwing water, but their efforts proved unsuccessful. The fire brigade team arrived shortly after and managed to bring the blaze under control, though by then both vehicles had suffered extensive damage.

Both vehicle owners have suffered significant financial losses, with Hussain's new scooter being almost completely destroyed in the incident. No injuries were reported as both owners managed to stay clear of the flames.
