Union Minister Virendra Kumar Travels In Public Bus In Madhya Pradesh's Tikamgarh, Interacts With Locals
Tikamgarh (Madhya Pradesh): Union Minister and Tikamgarh MP Virendra Kumar was seen travelling like a regular passenger in a public bus on Sunday.
His gesture, simplicity and down-to-earth approach won the hearts of co-passengers as well as the citizens. The incident took place in Tikamgarh district, where the minister chose to travel from Tikamgarh to Prithvipur using public transport.
He purchased a ticket from the bus conductor and sat with the passengers. He also engaged in open conversations with locals. During the journey, he asked them about their personal well-being as well as issues affecting the region and assured them of timely solutions.
In a social media post, the minister wrote, "Today, while travelling from Tikamgarh to Prithvipur, I chose a public bus as my mode of transport. I bought a ticket and travelled with my local people just like any ordinary passenger."
He further added that it’s important for public representatives to remain connected to the people by travelling among them.
"Whether it's by train, bus, or auto, travelling with the public helps us understand the efficiency of the system and the real problems people face. I always look for such opportunities to connect with locals and work on resolving their issues," he said.
