During this time, heavy destruction is expected in many areas due to rain and strong winds accompanied by thunderstorms.

Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from June 1. The special thing is that extremely heavy rains can also occur in these areas on June 1. Rains will also be heavy in Arunachal Pradesh and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

The Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of waterlogging, landslides and rise in the water level of rivers in these states. In such a situation, people have been urged to avoid traveling in hilly areas and follow the advice of the local administration.

Thunderstorm and lightning warning in North-West India

Thunderstorms, strong winds (40-70 km/h) and rain are likely in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan for the next three days. Its effect will be most visible on June 2 and 3. Heavy rain is expected at different places in Uttarakhand from June 1 to 4, while heavy rain is expected in Punjab and Haryana on June 3. Dust storms may also occur in West Rajasthan from June 2 to 4.

Thunderstorms and rain will occur in Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana from June 1 to 4. Heavy rain alert has been issued in Kerala and Mahi. Strong winds will also blow along with rain in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Bihar.
