Breaking: Bengaluru Suitcase Murder Solved, Girl's Boyfriend Among 7 Arrested | ABP NEWS
In a shocking incident from Bengaluru, the body of a minor girl named Reema was found inside a blue suitcase near a railway station on May 21. After a 10-day investigation, the police arrested seven people, including her boyfriend Ashiq Kumar. The case stunned everyone as it was revealed that the same boyfriend Reema had eloped with on May 15 from Nawada, ended up brutally murdering her. Ashiq took Reema to his uncle’s place in Bengaluru and murdered her on May 20. During interrogation, Ashiq confessed that he first strangled Reema and then smashed her onto the floor, breaking her neck and killing her. He then stuffed her body in a suitcase and dumped it near the railway station to avoid suspicion. The police caught him after noticing suspicious glass shards near the scene. Meanwhile, in Delhi's Jungpura area, over 370 slum dwellings were demolished in a major anti-encroachment drive. Heavy police and RAF deployment ensured security as bulldozers cleared the area following a court order. Authorities claimed the slums were blocking the Barapulla drain, increasing flood risks. Many families affected by the demolition had lived there for decades, and now face uncertainty, even though some have been offered resettlement in Narela under the rehabilitation plan.
