According to railway officials, the survey of this route was going on for about six months. Earlier there was a proposal to go to Mumbai via Kanpur, Mathura, Agra. Then the route from Bareilly to Aonla, Chandausi, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, Nizamuddin via Agra and then to Mumbai was seen. Finally the route to Mumbai via Bareilly Junction was decided. Now this train will go from Lucknow to Mumbai via Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly Junction, Rampur, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, Nizamuddin, Agra.

The train will have a total of 20 coaches

According to railway sources, this train will have a total of 20 coaches. Apart from AC First, Second and Third, there will also be two SLR coaches. 1200 passengers will be able to travel in this train simultaneously. Railways said that the work of fixing the timetable of the train is in the final stage and preparations have been intensified to start the train from July. There is a plan to run this train four days a week. This will make it easier for the people of UP to reach Mumbai than ever before.

It is worth noting that the country’s first Vande Bharat Express train started from Varanasi in UP. In 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged it off. This train runs between Varanasi and New Delhi and is very popular among the passengers due to its speed and facilities. Now two Vande Bharat trains are running between Varanasi and New Delhi, benefiting thousands of passengers daily.
