'Mission: Impossible' Moment As Triple-Riding Bike Falls Into Roadside Stream In Vietnam; 1 Pillion Manages To Jump Seconds Before Mishap

A viral video that captured a jaw-dropping escape looked like a scene straight out of Mission: Impossible — only it starred a man in Vietnam instead of Tom Cruise, hanging off a bridge to avoid a crashing bike.

The clip, now widely shared on X (formerly Twitter), shows three men riding a two-wheeler at high speed as they approach a narrow bridge. Just as they reach the crossing, a van appears from the opposite side.

In a split-second reaction to avoid a collision, the bike ends up plunging straight into a stream below.

But in a movie-like moment, one of the pillion riders pulls off an extraordinary escape. The third rider jumps off just in time and grabs onto the iron railing along the bridge. He manages to hold on, avoiding the mishap as the bike and the other two riders plunge into the water.

Yes, he quite narrowly avoided what could have been a serious fall into the stream.

Shocked viewers online couldn’t believe their eyes. They praised the Vietnamese man's quick reflexes, which saved him from falling into the stream and left him hanging from the bridge mid-air. The internet also hailed him as a professional stuntman.

“Bro doesn’t have reflexes. Reflexes have him,” joked one user. Another wrote, “This guy really pulled a Mission: Impossible move,” while poking fun at the second rider for being “still buffering.”

The undated video is making the rounds online, but the condition of the two men who went into the water remains unclear.
