25-Year-Old Electrician Electrocuted In Under-Construction Building
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 25-year-old youth was electrocuted while working in an under-construction building in the Aerodrome police station area on Sunday.
A measurement tape that he was handling came in contact with a high-tension wire and he received a severe electric shock. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
According to the police, the deceased was identified as Durgesh Singh Tomar, a resident of Hatod. His family members said Durgesh worked as an electrician. On Sunday, he was working in an under-construction building in Sukhdev Nagar.
While he was handing a measurement tape to a labourer standing below, it touched a high-tension wire passing near the building. He received a strong electric shock, leading to his death.
Meanwhile, in another incident a 45-year-old man was electrocuted while taking down clothes from the terrace in the Dwarkapuri police station area. According to the police, the deceased was identified as Ajmal, a resident of Vidur Nagar.
He had gone to the terrace to bring down clothes. As one of the clothes fell on a wire, he tried to lift it with an iron pipe which came in contact with a high-tension line. He suffered a severe electric shock, leading to his death.
