Janhit: Operation Sindoor Echoes in Global Corridors, Pakistan’s Fear Now Public | ABP NEWS

During the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore, Pakistan’s Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee head, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, expressed deep concerns over India’s Operation Sindoor, a covert military action launched on May 10 that destroyed 13 Pakistani military posts in just 22 minutes. Mirza warned that global powers may not intervene quickly enough to save Pakistan if India strikes again, reflecting mounting fears within Pakistan’s military circles. He also reiterated the need for an early resolution of the Kashmir issue and raised alarms over nuclear tensions between the two countries. India, however, remains firm in its stance, with Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan declaring that Operation Sindoor is a message to Pakistan: India will no longer tolerate terrorism. Prime Minister Modi’s statement — "terror and talks cannot go hand in hand" — has reinforced India’s commitment to its strategic objectives, backed by advanced defense systems like the S-400. In addition to the security crisis, Pakistan is grappling with a severe water shortage, further exacerbated by disputes with India over the Indus Water Treaty. The ongoing water crisis threatens Pakistan’s agricultural sector, pushing food prices to alarming heights. The situation calls for urgent diplomatic solutions to prevent further instability.
