Punjab varsity begins centralised BEd admissions for city colleges
The Panjab University has started the centralised admission process for the Bachelor of Education (BEd) programme for the academic session 2025–27 in Chandigarh. Admissions for 270 BEd seats across the colleges of education affiliated with the PU will be based on merit determined through the Common Entrance Test scheduled for July 13.

The last date to submit online applications is July 4 and the result of the entrance test will be declared on July 24. The minimum eligibility requirement for the BEd programme is graduation with at least 50 per cent marks. No separate advertisement will be issued in newspapers, and candidates are advised to regularly check the website for all updates.
Admissions will be conducted through centralised physical counselling based strictly on CET merit. The first round of counselling is tentatively scheduled for the second week of August 2025.
