Stitching success 32 women complete garment construction training at RSETI
As many as 32 women trained in Garment Construction at the Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) were awarded completion certificates at a ceremony held today. The trainees were felicitated by Rakesh Sharma, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Hamirpur.
Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Sharma said such training programmes provide opportunities for women to become entrepreneurs. He added that, with the help of financial assistance from banks, women could set up their own businesses and earn a sustainable livelihood.
He also noted the availability of various banking schemes that support small businesses and women entrepreneurs, enabling them to embark on their journey towards building a successful career.
Ajay Kumar Katna, Director of RSETI, assured that the institute would extend full support to its candidates for credit linkage, enabling them to launch ventures without facing financial barriers.
He further shared that the assessment of the training was conducted by an independent agency, with Som Dutt Sharma as the assessor and Pushpa Sharma as the domain assessor. The skill trainer for the course was Nitan Devi.
