J&K BJP holds Shradhanjali Sabha for Ahmedabad air tragedy victims

JAMMU, June 14: The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today organised a Shradhanjali Sabha at its party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar to pay tribute to the victims of the tragic air accident in Ahmedabad.
Led by J&K BJP President Sat Sharma, the solemn event was attended by several senior leaders including Ashok Koul, Advocate Vibodh Gupta, Priya Sethi, and other BJP leaders.
During the event, floral tributes were paid, and a two-minute silence was observed in memory of those who lost their lives, including Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma expressed deep sorrow over the incident and said the entire nation shares the grief of the bereaved families.
He also appreciated the emergency teams for their timely response and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Ashok Koul highlighted the need for unity in such difficult times, calling the incident a national tragedy.
Advocate Vibodh Gupta stressed the importance of strengthening safety measures to avoid such mishaps in the future.
Priya Sethi described the loss as “unimaginable” and said the nation stands firmly with the affected families.
The proceedings were conducted by BJP Media Incharge Dr Pardeep Mahotra, who reiterated the party’s commitment to standing by the people in times of national sorrow.
Other BJP leaders including Anuradha Charak, Ayodhya Gupta, Rajiv Charak, Munish Sharma, Dr Tahir Choudhary, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, Prof Kulbhushan Mohtra, Rekha Mahajan, Ajay Vaid, and others also paid their tribute.
