Inside the scrapped GTA 6 story featuring a corrupt cop and a cartel lieutenant

Rockstar Games initially envisioned a much darker GTA 6 storyline, led by Dan Houser, featuring a morally compromised Vice City cop, his addicted son, and a ruthless cartel lieutenant. This early 2016 narrative, focusing on moral decay and family obligation, was deemed too dark by Take-Two Interactive and ultimately scrapped.
