Director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan has accused the makers of the Mohanlal starrer ‘Thudarum’ of plagiarizing the core idea and structure from his 2020 script, ‘Theeyattam.’ He claims the film replicates the story of an autorickshaw driver wrongly accused of murder, even including a specific, contextually irrelevant dialogue from his original screenplay. Sanal plans to publish his screenplay soon as evidence.
