Israeli officials said on June 16 that five people were killed and 81 wounded following Iran's latest missile attack. Residential blocks in Tel Aviv suffered direct hits in the latest attack, in the early morning hours of June 16, Israeli media reports said. One of the missiles fell near the American embassy compound in Tel Aviv, Ynet news reported. At approximately 4:50 am local time, hundreds of missiles were fired from Iran toward strategic and sensitive targets in Tel Aviv and Haifa, Iran’s state broadcaster said. Among the sites hit, the Haifa power plant was seen engulfed in flames following an Iranian missile strike, as per Press TV.The plant, guarded by the Arrow 3 air defence system, was destroyed by an Iranian missile attack, Press TV said, citing Israeli media reports.
