BJP marks 11 yrs of Modi rule, 100 days of Delhi Govt with exhibition

The Delhi BJP on Monday inaugurated an exhibition at its party headquarters to commemorate 11 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government and 100 days of the newly formed BJP-led Delhi government.

The event, themed around “Sewa, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan” (service, good governance and welfare of the poor), was jointly inaugurated by Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.

Also present were senior BJP leaders, including MP Manoj Tiwari, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Yogender Chandolia and Praveen Khandelwal, and exhibition coordinator Anil Sharma, along with MLAs and other party officials.

Puri said, “Delhi now has a government driven by purpose and accountability.” He thanked Sachdeva for leading the BJP to power in the city after nearly three decades and praised Chief Minister Rekha for the progress made during the first 100 days of her administration.

“The Modi government’s 11-year journey is marked by transformative welfare schemes. Despite global economic challenges, India has emerged as the world’s fourth-largest economy — a milestone that reflects strong leadership,” Puri said. He also lauded Delhi’s push for electric buses and expressed hope that the Capital would soon make strides in adopting hydrogen energy as well.

Puri highlighted key local efforts, including Yamuna cleaning and landfill management, asserting that visible results in pollution reduction would soon follow. Sachdeva described the last 11 years of Modi’s leadership as a “golden era” of trust, confidence and inclusive development.

He said the exhibition offered a dual perspective — celebrating a decade of national progress and 100 days of swift and responsive governance in Delhi. “We will now take this exhibition to every district and division so people across the Capital can witness what real governance looks like,” he added.

The CM called the Central and Delhi governments a “double engine” of development and said visible change was taking place across sectors. “The previous Delhi Government never acknowledged the Centre’s support, even when Rs 1.25 lakh crore was allocated for road projects and financial aid given for landfill clean-up. But this new government is committed to doubling the pace of progress — whether it is air quality, water, roads, or cleaning the Yamuna,” she said.

The exhibition features visual documentation of welfare schemes, infrastructure projects and reforms from both the Centre and the Delhi government.
