Israel Hints At Strikes Bigger Than 'Anti-Hezbollah Beeper Mission' After Trump's 'Vacate Tehran' Advisory

As tensions in the Middle East spiral to dangerous new heights, Israel is signaling the possibility of a powerful military escalation—one that could eclipse its recent high-tech strike against Hezbollah. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning, urging civilians to flee Tehran without delay.

The developments unfolded rapidly on Monday morning, with Trump taking to his platform, Truth Social, to deliver a series of pointed messages. In his posts, he blasted Iran's leadership and reiterated his uncompromising stance on the country’s nuclear program.

“Iran should have signed the ‘deal’ I told them to sign,” Trump wrote. “What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again.”

His most urgent call, however, came in the form of a direct advisory: “Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!” The warning coincided with an unexpected shift in Trump’s schedule. The White House confirmed that he would leave the G7 summit early to “attend to many important matters,” sparking global speculation about what might come next.

Israel's Cryptic Warning: "You’re Going to See Some Surprises"

Fueling the uncertainty, Israel’s ambassador to the United States made a cryptic yet ominous statement in an interview with CNN.
“You’re going to see some surprises Thursday night and Friday that will make the beeper operation against Hezbollah almost seem simple,” the ambassador said, hinting at a potentially larger, more complex military action on the horizon.

This reference to the “beeper operation” alludes to a recent covert strike widely believed to have been orchestrated by Israel, in which a network of digital pagers used by Hezbollah operatives was remotely detonated. Though Israeli officials have not officially claimed responsibility, international analysts say the evidence strongly points to their involvement.

Inside the 'Beeper Operation'

According to sources cited by Axios, the mass detonation of pagers had been intended as the opening salvo in a much broader assault on Hezbollah. However, concerns arose that the group had uncovered details of the plan. In response, the operation was executed ahead of schedule to avoid compromising Israeli intelligence.
Security experts have described the scale and precision of the attack as unprecedented. Professor Simon Mabon, an international relations scholar at Lancaster University, told the BBC, “Israel has a precedent of using technology to track its target—but this scale is unlike anything we've seen before.”

Lina Khatib of Chatham House added that the strike signaled a deep penetration of Hezbollah’s communication systems, suggesting years of preparation and high-level intelligence work.

Fallout and Accusations

Hezbollah, for its part, has openly accused Israel of carrying out what it called a “criminal aggression,” condemning the operation for also targeting civilians.
While Israel has remained tight-lipped, the tone of its diplomatic and military messaging suggests it may not be done yet. With new “surprises” potentially just days away and international concern mounting, the region sits on the edge of a possible escalation.

India Issues Advisory to Nationals in Tehran

Amid the rising tensions, India has also moved to protect its citizens. In a public advisory, the Indian government urged all nationals and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) residing in Tehran to leave the city immediately if they are able to do so.

“All Indian Nationals and PIOs who can move out of Tehran using their own resources, are advised to move to a safe location outside the City,” the advisory stated, underscoring the growing sense of urgency on the ground.
