Indore To Host 5 Matches Of ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 At Holkar Stadium
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Indore’s Holkar stadium is set to host 5 World Cup matches. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the schedule of the Women's ODI World Cup 2025.
According to this schedule, 5 matches will also be played at Holkar Stadium in Indore. This is the first time that World Cup matches will be played at Holkar Stadium
This is the second time that Women's ODI World Cup matches will be played in Indore. Earlier in 1997 also, Indore got a match of Women's ODI World Cup at Nehru Stadium. The tournament will start on 30 September 2025.
All these matches will be played at Holkar Stadium from 3 pm. India is going to host the Women's World Cup for the first time after 12 years. The last time India got the hosting of the Women's World Cup was in 2013.
In this tournament, 28 league matches and three knockout matches will be played at five venues Bengaluru, Indore, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam and Colombo.
The first semi-final will be played on 29 October in Guwahati or Colombo (depending on Pakistan's arrival) and the second semi-final will be played on 30 October in Bengaluru.
The final will be played on 2 November in Bengaluru or Colombo. 28 years ago in 1997, the World Cup match between India and New Zealand women's teams was played at Nehru Stadium and the match was tied.

6 October - New Zealand VS South Africa
19 October - India VS England
22 October - Australia VS England
25 October - Australia VS Sri Lanka
Australia will play its first match in Indore
Defending champion Australia will start its campaign against New Zealand on 1 October at Holkar Stadium in Indore. After this, it will face Pakistan in Colombo on 8 October. Australia and England will face each other in Indore on 22 October.
