Government school teachers will have to do this work twice a year, otherwise they will not get salary

There will be compulsory training for teachers in government schools twice a year. District Education Officer Manish Kumar Singh said that this residential training will be for one week and SCERT has been given the responsibility for it. Information about the latest teaching techniques will be given in the training. The Additional Chief Secretary has given instructions to implement it strictly.

All teachers working in government schools will now be given compulsory training twice every year. The aim of the program is to further expand the quality in the school education system.

Referring to the decision taken at the departmental level, District Education Officer Manish Kumar Singh said that under this scheme, one-week residential training will be provided to teachers working in government schools across the district.

DEO Singh said that the responsibility of implementing this scheme in a planned manner has been handed over to the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) by the department. A detailed action plan has been sent to SCERT in the prescribed format from the department level.

Participation of each teacher in his/her turn will be mandatory

DEO Manish Kumar Singh said that this special training program will be organized regularly in the District Education and Training Institute (DIET). In which participation of each teacher will be mandatory according to their turn.

During this time they will be made aware of the latest teaching techniques and educational approaches, so that they can teach their respective students more effectively.

In case of not participating in the training, departmental action will be taken along with salary withholding

Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department Dr. S. Siddharth has instructed to strictly implement this scheme, so that school education and the future of children can be improved further. There is also an instruction that the educational work of the teachers will be evaluated on the basis of the achievements of this training.

A plan has been set to conduct this training program in a quality manner through DIET along with Bipad and SCERT of Patna and Gaya and other training institutes.
