In this episode, Northeast Railway has started the work of gauge conversion related to pre-commissioning on Bahraich-Nanpara railway section of Uttar Pradesh from Monday, due to which many trains will be affected from 16 to 21 June.

Operations of 10 trains will be affected

According to the railways, during this period, the Chief Safety Commissioner (CRS) will conduct security checks on June 20 and 21. In view of this work, the Northeast Railway administration has made partial changes in the operation of 10 trains. This information was given by Pankaj Kumar Singh, Chief Public Relations Officer of Northeast Railway.

These trains will be cancelled

Train number 14213 Varanasi-Bahraich Express will run only till Gonda from 16 to 19 June. The operation of this train will remain canceled between Gonda to Bahraich. Train number 14214 Bahraich-Varanasi Express will start from Gonda from 17 to 20 June. This train will not run between Bahraich to Gonda. Similarly, 05131 Gorakhpur-Bahraich Special will run only till Payagpur from 16 to 21 June. The operation of this train will remain canceled between Payagpur to Bahraich. 05132 Bahraich-Gorakhpur Special will start from Payagpur instead of Bahraich from 16 to 21 June.

Route of these trains changed

Apart from this, 75109 Gonda-Bahraich DEMU will go only till Chilwaria from 17 to 19 June. 75110 Bahraich-Gonda DEMU will depart from Chilwaria from 17 to 19 June, will not run from Bahraich. 75111 Gonda-Bahraich DEMU will be limited to Chilwaria only from 16 to 19 June. 75112 Bahraich-Gonda DEMU will start from Chilwaria from 16 to 19 June. 75113 Gonda-Bahraich DEMU will run only till Chilwaria from 16 to 19 June. 75114 Bahraich-Gonda DEMU will depart from Chilwaria from 16 to 19 June.

The railway administration has appealed to the passengers to get information about the concerned train before traveling. Many passengers may have to start their journey from other stations instead of their nearest station. To save time and inconvenience, it is important to get prior information from the railway website, helpline number or nearest station.
