The veteran actress revealed in a recent interview that all producers used to chase Rajesh Khanna to cast him in their films. Due to this, he used to face difficulty in choosing films, and to avoid this, he used to conduct a draw.

In an interview with Lehren Retro,  Aruna Irani made many shocking revelations. She said in her interview that even Rajesh Khanna himself used to be afraid of her.

In her interview, Aruna had said that Rajesh ji used to call me sister. He used to tell me that you tease everyone, don’t tease me. I used to say ‘What are you saying, I will tease you. He also always liked me a lot’.

She further revealed, ‘I saw him once, which was very good. We were shooting for a film in which Neetu was there, and many others were also on the set. Many producers used to come to sign him. He used to choose which film he would do by putting tickets.’

“When he agreed to a producer during that time, sweets were distributed on the set, such was his stardom. I was always seen seducing him. Because I used to get only vamp roles and mostly I had to fall for him,” said Aruna Irani.

“I have played all kinds of roles like dancing, mother’s role, sister’s role, vamp’s role. How do you feel about it? I am happy that I got a chance to do all kinds of work. Not everyone gets a chance to play all kinds of roles,” revealed the Bollywood actress.

Renowned actress Aruna entered the film industry with the dream of becoming a heroine. But she was able to make a name for herself as a villain in cinema. She worked with Jeetendra in ‘Karvan’ in 1971. The film created a stir at the box office. This film sold more tickets than Sholay. The film was a blockbuster in China.
