TTD urges Centre to rename Tirupati airport after lord Sri Venkateswara

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams trust board convened a meeting in Tirumala. The board decided to request the Union government to rename Tirupati airport. The new name will be Sri Venkateswara airport. The trust also plans to build a Lord Venkateswara temple in Bengaluru. This will happen on 47 acres of land provided by the Karnataka government.
