‘They came after so long, and we lost them all’: UK-based Syed family of 4 to be laid to rest in Malad today; picture-perfect homecoming ends in heartbreak

The Syed family, including two young children, perished in the Ahmedabad-London Air India crash. Javed Ali Syed, his wife Mariam, Zayn, and Amani will be buried in Mumbai. The family had traveled to India to visit Javed’s mother and celebrate Eid. Relatives are devastated by the loss. They are bringing the bodies back to Mumbai after identification.
