Control Room Setup To Assist Families Of Ladakh Students, Residents Stranded In Iran
LEH, Jun 18: Authorities in the Union Territory of Ladakh on Wednesday announced the establishment of a dedicated control room here to assist families of students and others stranded in war-torn Iran.
“In view of the current situation in the Middle East, the district administration has established a dedicated control room at the Deputy Commissioner’s office Leh to assist families of students and residents of Leh who are currently stranded in Iran,” an official order said.
It said a dedicated 24/7 helpline with numbers 01982252049 (landline) and 09149909251 (mobile) has been set up to collect necessary details and extend all possible assistance to the general public.
