Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis Inaugurates Auditorium & Art Gallery At Sant Peeth, Chikhali

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the newly constructed auditorium and art gallery at Sant Tukaram Maharaj Sant Peeth, located in Talgaon Chikhali, Pune, on Wednesday. The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including Member of Parliament Shrirang Appa Barne and MLAs Mahesh Landge and Amit Gorkhe, along with veteran litterateur Professor Sadanand More.

During the inauguration ceremony, students from Sant Peeth showcased their cultural talents with vibrant performances. They played traditional instruments such as the Pakhwaj and Tabla and presented devotional Abhanga songs, which are an integral part of the region’s spiritual heritage.

These performances added a celebratory atmosphere to the occasion and highlighted the deep cultural roots associated with Sant Tukaram Maharaj. The new auditorium and art gallery are expected to serve as important centres for cultural and educational activities. They will provide a platform for preserving and promoting the art, music, and literary traditions inspired by the teachings of Sant Tukaram Maharaj.

Maharashtra Minister Pratap Sarnaik Announces ₹1,865 Crore Tuljapur Temple Development Project; CM Devendra Fadnavis to Inaugurate

Maharashtra Transport Minister and Guardian Minister of Dharashiv district, Pratap Sarnaik, has announced a ₹1,865 crore development project for the Shree Tuljapur Temple. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the project, and Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar are also expected to attend the event.

According to Minister Sarnaik, the project is planned to be completed in the next three to three and a half years. The goal is to improve facilities for the 1 to 1.5 crore devotees who visit the temple each year and to promote the overall development of Tuljapur city.

Sarnaik stressed the need for fast progress and asked officials to carry out land acquisition, technical approvals, and the tendering process at the same time. The project not only focuses on upgrading the temple premises but also includes the development of the entire city.
