The authority has installed 190 high resolution cameras on the NH-48 and Dwarka Expressway. The cameras will help in identifying and penalising the over speeders and traffic norm violations. Online challans will be issued that are expected to act as deterrents.
The installation of these cameras has been completed through testing of these cameras is going on. These cameras will be fully started by the end of this month. These cameras installed on both the highways will be on 24X7. One-third of the total cameras has been installed with speed enforcement technology.
