Meet Ayushman Tripathi, who received record-breaking job offer from…; not from IIT, IIM, BIT, VIT, NIT; his salary is Rs…

Placement is one of the most important things in a student’s life, as it marks the beginning of their professional career. A good placement makes sure not only high salary, but also that the efforts, skills, and abilities of an individual have been recognized based on acceptance in reputed firms. A good placement exposes students to real-life client-facing environments where they can practice their studies, gain industry exposure, and personal and professional development. IIIT Naya Raipur has published its placement report for the year 2025, which mentions a remarkable accomplishment by its Computer Science student, Ayushman Tripathi.

According to the Patrika report, Ayushman Tripathi received an annual package of Rs 1.20 crore and is from Uttar Pradesh. Ayushman was given a job offer from U.S.-based multinational The Trade Desk and is currently undergoing his internship.

This year, more than 60 B.Tech & M.Tech students were placed in reputed companies via campus placements and off-campus placements. The institute reported an average CTC of Rs 18.90 lakh per annum, and the median CTC is Rs 14.50 lakh. Placement officer Amit Agrawal attributed the performance to the institute’s focus on industry-related skill development. Furthermore, a number of companies, notably Local App, INDmoney, Cadence Design, NXP Semiconductors, Swiggy, Cashify, and Acko General Insurance, did their first campus placement drive at the institute. Several companies returned after offering placements in previous years, which, according to the placement cell, reflected their faith in the talent of IIIT Naya Raipur.

During the placement drive, leading tech firms like Google (Rs 62 lakh), Intuit (Rs 62 lakh), Microsoft (Rs 56 lakh), D. E. Shaw (Rs 56 lakh), and Amazon (Rs 46 lakh) recruited the best students from the institute. The total placement package rate was therefore 86.50 % for the current year. The Dean of Academics, Srinivas K.G., attributes this success to the effort of students, the support of faculty, the encouragement of the administration, and the assistance from groups like the government of the state and NTPC.

According to the Patrika report, Ayushman Tripathi received an annual package of Rs 1.20 crore and is from Uttar Pradesh. According to his LinkedIn profile, Ayushman is currently pursuing an internship with Amazon Web Services. However, he has received a job offer from The Trade Desk.
