Trump hints at possible role in mediating Israel-Iran ceasefire
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has hinted at the possibility of playing a role in mediating a ceasefire between Iran and Israel amid the ongoing conflict. Speaking about the deteriorating situation, Trump claimed he had previously offered a strong deal that was ultimately rejected, a decision he believes is now being regretted. He noted that discussions had taken place over two months, and although it may be late, there appears to be renewed interest in dialogue—even a possible visit to the White House. While stopping short of confirming any concrete steps, Trump suggested he has ideas in mind and indicated that he prefers to finalize decisions at the last moment due to the unpredictability of war. He expressed concern over the escalating violence and loss of life, emphasizing the seriousness.
