Sony Bravia II 65-Inch & 55-Inch QD-OLED Smart TVs With AI XR Processor Launched In India
Sony has unveiled two new smart TVs in its new BRAVIA 8 II series with the new AI Processor XR in India. The two smart TVs feature a 65-inch and 55-inch QD-OLED screen size and they support Studio Calibrated Mode for deeper blacks and better contrast. The XR Processor in BRAVIA 8 II series features an AI scene recognition system that detects and analyses data to optimise picture quality accordingly.
The model numbers for the two Sony Bravia II smart TVs are K-65XR80M2 and K-55XR80M2. The 65-inch variant is priced at Rs. 3,41,990 in India and the 55-inch variant is priced in India at Rs. 2,46,000. Both are already available across Sony retail stores (Sony Center and Sony Exclusive), www.ShopatSC.com portal, major electronic stores and other e-commerce portals.
The new smart TVs by Sony support XR Contrast Booster for better colour depth, and the XR Clear Image technology ensures that hues and shades are rendered accurately, making images appear true to life. It uses a custom database of textures to intelligently upscale any content to near 4K quality.
Sony Bravia II smart TVs support Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision for immersive spatial sound with in-depth and clearer audio and video technology. The Acoustic Surface Audio+ technology is used in Sony BRAVIA 8 II, which claims to turn the entire screen into a speaker. It uses actuators behind the screen to create vibrations, which in turn generate sound. This ensures sound is perfectly aligned with the picture.
Other features include Auto HDR Tone Mapping, 4K/120fps support, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). It boasts of a slim one slate design and is equipped with an Eco Remote.
