Leena Chandavarkar’s two marriages

Leena had an arranged marriage to her first husband, Siddharth Bandodkar, son of Dayanand Bandodkar, the first Chief Minister of Goa, Daman and Diu. Siddharth died from an accidental gunshot wound, a few days into the marriage, leaving Leena a widow at age 25. In 1980, she married Kishore Kumar, they had a son Sumeet. In 1987, Kishore Kumar died, leaving Leena once again a widow at 37.

At the peak of her career, Leena Chandavarkar chose some films that flopped and didn’t suit her image.
