The Ambani family is known across India for its wealth, luxury, and grand lifestyle. From daughters to daughters-in-law, every family member is often seen wearing sparkling diamonds and designer outfits. Even the men in the family are stylish and sharp in their appearance. But when it comes to Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, their quiet elegance often sets them apart, they are rarely spotted by the paparazzi, but when they are, their simplicity stands out.
Recently, Anand Piramal, who is married to Isha Ambani, was seen by paparazzi in Mumbai. What caught everyone’s attention wasn’t some flashy outfit or fancy accessory but his simple and relaxed look. Dressed in casual homewear, Anand looked like any regular person, and people on social media loved this down-to-earth side of him.
A look that speaks simplicity
Despite being a successful businessman and Executive Director of the Piramal Group, Anand prefers simplicity over show. And it clearly shows every time he steps out in public. This time too, he stayed far away from fashion trends or loud designer pieces.
He wore a plain white T-shirt with a round neck no patterns, no brand logos and paired it with basic blue shorts. The clothes were relaxed in fit and looked very comfortable. One would not be able to tell from his outfit that he belongs to one of India’s richest families, and that’s exactly what made his look feel so elegant.

No watch, no accessories, just a black thread
Anand’s simplicity didn’t stop at clothes. He didn’t wear a watch or any visible accessories. The only thing he was seen wearing was a simple black thread on his wrist, a common tradition in many Indian households for spiritual or protective reasons, and something even other Ambani family members are often seen wearing.
Instead of fancy shoes, Anand wore open beige-and-brown slippers with cross straps – again, very normal, very real.
When photographers gathered to take his pictures, Anand didn’t stop to pose or wave. He quietly walked to his car without making a fuss or trying to be in the spotlight.
Fresh breath of humility
Anand Piramal’s casual look is a reminder that real elegance doesn’t always need flashy clothes or expensive watches. Sometimes, the most powerful message comes through simplicity.
Anand Piramal and Isha Ambani tied the knot on December 12, 2018, in an intimate ceremony held at the Ambanis’ home, Antilia, in Mumbai.
