IPS Rahul Jain is a 2015 Batch Officer of Odisha cadre and is currently posted as Superintendent of Police in Angul District, Odisha.Known for his compassion and community driven policing. His Mission for the district focuses on safeguarding women and children. “We are cracking down on crimes against women and children,” he said, emphasizing his zero-tolerance approach. In order to instil fear in wrongdoers and ensure a strong sense of safety for women and children, Jain explained “We are fast-tracking investigations and trials in many of these cases.” Under his leadership, efforts are also being made to secure swift convictions so that justice is delivered promptly. “We’re working to ensure that culprits are punished in the shortest possible time,” he affirmed.

FSIB seeks applications for MD, IIFCL
The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) – associated with the appointment of top officials for public sector banks and financial institutions – has invited applications for the post of Managing Director (MD) of India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL) on a full-time basis.
The applicant should have at least 25 years’ experience in different verticals/ domains in scheduled commercial banks (SCBs)/ financial institutions (FIs) or public sector organisations in the financial/ banking sector, including three years of operational experience preferably in Project Finance/ Credit Appraisal/ Large Corporate Credit as on May 29, 2025. Of these, at least two years of experience should be at the level of Whole-Time Director/ Director on the Board of an SCB/ FI; or General Manager in Nationalised Banks; or Executive Director in IDBI Bank Limited. The last date for submitting the complete online application is July 15, 2025.
