Rail Wheel Factory Retains GreenCo Gold Rating and Wins GreenCo Champions Trophy

Rail Wheel Factory (RWF) has once again demonstrated its commitment to sustainable industrial practices by successfully retaining its GreenCo Gold certification. This prestigious recognition comes following a comprehensive audit conducted as part of the GreenCo Rating assessment.

In acknowledgment of RWF's consistent environmental performance and leadership in sustainable manufacturing, the factory was honoured with the GreenCo Champions Trophy at the 14th GreenCo Summit 2025, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC).

RWF’s holistic initiatives in energy and water conservation, greenhouse gas emission reduction, material conservation, green innovation, recycling and reuse, product stewardship, and green belt development have been recognized as benchmarks within the industry. These efforts not only contributed to the renewal of its Gold Rating but also earned RWF the title of GreenCo Champion, reflecting its long-standing consistency and leadership in environmental stewardship.
