'666 Operation Dream Theatre': Hemanth M Rao led thriller to star Dhananjay and Shivarajkumar

Following his success with 'Kavaludaari', 'Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu' and 'Humble Politiciann Nograj', Hemanth M Rao is back with his next directorial – '666 Operation Dream Theatre'. Set to feature Daali Dhananjaya in the shoes of the protagonist and Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar in a powerful role, the announcement brings excitement among Kannada fans. The news comes out on the occasion of Shivarajkumar completing 40 years in the film industry, adding more sheen to it.

 

The news, which came along with a special animated teaser is a stellar watch, blending adventure, thrill and action. The two-minute video opens to show a medical scene, with doctors performing a surgery. As the teaser progresses, the action intensifies, panning to focus on a chase. The usage of monochrome pictures adds a sense of mystery, reflecting the director’s signature style of layered and intricate storytelling.

 

“The film promises to be a gripping cinematic experience blending intensity with layered narratives, set in a 70s-inspired style, and carrying the signature of Hemanth’s craft,” the makers said in a recent press release.

 

Supporting Rao’s vision is a stellar crew with Vaishak Gowda heading the production. Advaitha Gurumurthy will head the cinematography, playing the crucial role in providing the period look for the film. Continuing his successful collaborations with Rao, Charan Raj returns as the music composer.

 

The movie marks the collaboration of the actor duo following their success in the blockbuster hit 'Bairagee and Tagaru'. On the acting front, Dhananjay is currently shooting for 'Anna from Mexico', whereas Shivarajkumar’s yet another collaboration with Rao, 'Bhairavana Kone Pata', has been paused at the moment to let the actor recover from his illness. With the movie currently in the pre-production stage, the makers remain reticent about other details pertaining to the cast and crew.
