In a heroic rescue in Pune's Kharadi area, a man was saved from being swept away in the swollen Mula-Mutha river by alert police officers on Thursday. As the water release from the dam increased and the current grew stronger, the man got stranded mid-bridge on his bike towards the road to Keshav Nagar. During the process, we spotted a man stranded mid-bridge on his bike. Without wasting time, our officers formed a human chain using ropes and safely rescued him. The road has now been completely barricaded to prevent further incidents.”
