Indian Agency Bowling Championship 2025: A guidebook answering all your FAQs

As agencies across Mumbai gear up for the first-ever Agency Bowling Championship by Smaaash and Social Samosa, we’ve put together a quick guide answering the most frequently asked questions, so you know exactly what to expect, how to prep, and how to make the most of the tournament.

Taking place over two days, June 25 and 26, 2025, the tournament promises friendly competition, team spirit, and a chance to bring home more than just a trophy.

Who all can participate?

The tournament is open exclusively to agency teams. Each team must consist of five players and one substitute. Participants must be full-time employees of the agency and carry valid agency ID cards on the day of the event for verification. Each team must include at least one female player.

What’s the tournament format?

The championship is structured to test consistency, team dynamics, and a bit of bowling flair.

Round 1 – June 25:

  • All 10 registered teams bowl 10 frames each. 

  • Live scores will be tracked on a digital leaderboard. 

  • Top 5 teams qualify for the next round.

Round 2:

  • The qualifiers play another 10-frame game. 

  • The top 3 move on to the final.

Final Round – June 26:

  • The top 3 compete for the ultimate title. 

  • The two highest-scoring teams will be crowned Winner and Runner-Up. A tie? That means a 5-frame playoff.

Is there a dress code?

Yes. Teams are encouraged to wear agency-branded or colour-coordinated T-shirts. Bowling shoes will be provided at the venue, and players are advised to wear sports-friendly attire to ensure comfort during the game.

The event also includes perks like beverages, platters, and giveaways. Trophies will be awarded for Winner, Runner-Up, and MVP, with additional hampers from partner brands.
