Sub-Health Centre to be set up at Rewari village
The Health Department has taken a major step to strengthen healthcare services in the rural areas by approving the establishment of a Sub-Health Centre at Khori village of the district. The proposal has received formal approval from Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
Health Minister Arti Singh Rao emphasised that the government was committed to strengthening the health infrastructure of the state and prioritising the needs of every citizen. “The upcoming Sub-Health Centre will provide vital services such as immunisation, basic medical treatment and preventive care along with health awareness campaigns. This initiative is part of the state’s ongoing efforts to ensure equitable access to healthcare, especially in the rural areas of Haryana,” Arti pointed out.
She maintained that this move was aligned with the government’s broader vision of “Swasth Haryana”. Residents of Khori village had long been requesting the establishment of a health facility in their area to cater to their primary medical needs. Responding with urgency and empathy, the minister ensured that the proposal was swiftly approved. The Health Department has also assured adequate staff and resources to ensure that the centre functions effectively from the beginning.
